Fox Prairie Golf Course isn’t quite as old as Forest Park Golf Course, but it’s been in business for a long time; the doors first opened in 1970 with the original 18 holes, and an additional nine holes was added in 2002. The space originally served as a dairy farm, but has worked well over the years as a fun, well-maintained public course, one of the best in the area. This Indiana golf course is divided into three different sections, East, West, and Central, each with its own set of challenges and difficulties. There are a few tricky dog legs, but most holes are straight shots from tee to green. Bunkers line and often surround most of the greens, making for some difficult approach shots. There are four tee lengths at Fox Prairie Golf Course: blue, white, yellow, and red.

Fox Prairie Golf Course has several ways for players to get involved in the Noblesville sports scene. The Noblesville business‘ Men’s Golf League is one of the biggest such organizations in the area, with over 115 members. The club hosts tons of different tournaments that are always attended well; prize money is awarded, as well as scholarships to Indianapolis schools. Best ball tournaments, team scrambles, a Beat the Pros tournament, Horseraces, a Senior’s Championship, and other competitions are commonplace during the summer months at Fox Prairie Golf Course, and the annual Parent/Child competition is fantastic for Indianapolis children, Noblesville children and their parents. There are also two women’s leagues at Fox Prairie Golf Course: the Foxy Ladies (nine holes) and the Silver Foxes (eighteen holes).
