Sushiyama Asian Restaurant Offers Fresh Sushi, Sashimi and more Japanese Fare

The Sushiyama Asian Restaurant makes the bold claim to the “freshest Sushi in the Midwest,” and there are many avid proponents out there who will be quick to back it up. Sushiyama is located in Noblesville, Indiana, a fast-growing satellite community in the northeast quadrant of suburban Indianapolis.

The location itself is fortuitous, just off the I-465 and I-69 freeways, about ten minutes from Carmel, Westfield and Fishers and a half-hour from downtown Indianapolis. Perhaps suprisingly, Hoosiers love Japanese cuisine, and the Sushiyama Asian Restaurant tends to draw quite a crowd from all over.

This pleasant greater Indianapolis restaurant has been delivering the goods for many years now. Sushiyama is a smallish place, locally owned. The Sushi chef hails from South Korea, where he racked up the experience required to make good Sushi. He presides over all aspects of quality control in the kitchen.

The bulk of the long menu at this Noblesville restaurant is given over to the celebration of Sushi in all its glory. There are dozens of different types of regular rolls, such as the Spicy Salmon Roll, the Eel Avocado and the Indiana Roll. And the Nigiri is well represented too, with items such as Flying Fish Roe, Masago, Octopus, Sweet Shrimp and Scallop. Many different Sushi and Sashimi combinations round out a menu guaranteed to please anyone who loves these Asian delicacies.

It’s the “Specialty Rolls” menu that really sets the Sushiyama Asian Restaurant apart, though. You won’t be liable to find anything like them elsewhere in Indiana.

There’s the Crunch Munch Roll, for example, the Dynamite Roll, the Bacon Roll, the Hawaiian Roll, the Fire Roll, the Kamikaze Roll and the popular Campfire Rolls (pictured to the right).

To give you an idea of the sheer variety at Sushiyama, other items on the menu include several Tempura dishes, Gyoza, exotic sides such as Octopus or Seaweed Salad, Chicken, Beef or Salmon Teriyaki, Bulgogi, Kalbi and irresistible Asian noodles. For a dessert you’ll remember, try the Banana Temura Ice Cream or the delicious Green Tea Ice Cream.

Put a visit to Sushiyama on your “Things to do in Noblesville” list. You’ll find the experience fulfilling in more ways than one.
