Randall Scott Harden: Impressionism in Noblesville
One of the brightest lights in the art world of Noblesville, Indiana is Randall Scott Harden, a landscape artist par excellence. Using a fresh, uncluttered, impressionistic style, a good sense of color and composition, and heavy strokes akin to Van Gogh, this artist captures his subject with a sure hand.
Randall Scott Harden does not limit himself to land and waterscapes, nor to pure impressionism. Some of his work inclines toward the abstract, especially his figures. He has a series of wonderful still lifes and another of nocturnals that exemplify the work of a highly skilled member of the Noblesville arts scene who loves his work.
Randall Scott Harden has made his livelihood as a professional painter for over ten years. Self-taught, he nevertheless consistently displays an inspired and respectful passion for both traditional and contemporary art. A prolific artist, his work is shown in countless venues, private and public, around the globe, including some Indianapolis art galleries. He has gathered numerous awards and recognitions, including five “Best of Shows” in juried exhibitions.
Currently, his work is represented by The Artist’s Vineyard of Noblesville and the Castle Gallery of Fort Wayne. Though he has created paintings from beautiful sights around the world, Randall Scott Harden has a soft spot in his heart for Central Indiana and Noblesville, where he grew up and now resides, and where he maintains a working studio.
