The Indy Kids Consignment Sale held twice a year at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville, Indiana, is an economical solution for families with growing children. Because if there’s one thing parents can count on, it’s that their kids will always grow. No matter how much you spend on them, if the shoes don’t fit anymore, it’s time for new shoes.
The Indy Kids Consignment Sale offers gently used name-brand clothing for a fraction of the cost of new clothing. Area parents sign up as consignors, and prepare their items for sale. The IKC staff then carefully inspects all items, and accepts the best for the sale. Shoppers then purchase the items, and everyone involved has benefited, especially the child who now has shoes that fit!
The IKC Sale features nearly everything young children need, from toilets for potty training and baby gates to bikes and boots. Clothing is available from newborn sizes all the way through teen sizes. The spring sale accepts spring and summer items; the fall sale, fall and winter items. Shoes, outerwear, backpacks, lunch boxes, as well as bathing suits and flip flops are all for sale. Maternity clothes, and kids furniture are also offered at each sale.
The most interesting section of the sale, however, may be the toy aisles. Toys in good, working condition (with batteries included) are available for all ages at prices any bargain hunter would love. It’s not uncommon to find electronics and accessories, as well as American Girl dolls and other hot items. The key to the best finds is getting to the sale as early as possible.
