When a restaurant calls itself “the premier Italian experience in the state of Indiana,” you know they probably have the wherewithal to back it up. That’s the case with Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano, in the noble Indianapolis suburb called Noblesville, Indiana. For outright excellence in flavor, plating, decor, ambiance and service, you will not find a better Italian restaurant this side of the Old World.
Smack in the middle of the historic Courthouse Square sector in downtown Noblesville, Matteo’s is perfectly located for locals and visitors alike. The dining areas are ample, the tables are bedecked with tons of white linen, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. You’ll find yourself relaxing in Matteo’s Ristorante, even as you revel in the delightful Italian cuisine.

This fine Noblesville restaurant also offers a great party room that can accommodate 85 guests at a cocktail party or 60 guest at tables. Party guests choose from an extensive menu, or the meal can be worked out in advance with Matteo’s party professionals.
Owner and namesake Matteo DiRosa comes from a long line of successful restaurateurs. Two nearby restaurants, the Capri and Amalfi’s Ristorante Italiano in Indy, are owned by his brother Arturo, so you might say success is in Matteo’s DNA.
The family comes from a town close to Naples, and the undeniably delicious cuisine from that neck of the woods is what they serve. In their opening year, 2003, Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano took home the “Best of Indy” award, and then went on to win a coveted place on the list of “Top 25 Restaurants in Indianapolis.”
The relatively new restaurant in Noblesville has been received by the public with open arms. From the classic spaghetti dish to the gnocchi, Matteo’s fans say their prices are fair and the servings are more than generous. Jump right into an authentic Italian experience by sampling the Olive All’Ascolana, veal-stuffed green olives served with alfredo sauce, or the Ravioli Maria Rosa, stuffed with ricotta and spinach in a rich tomato based cream sauce.
You can get almost any Italian dish you want, even at lunch, from the Panini to the house Pizza to a sumptuous Filet Mignon. Try the Veal Scallopine, the Chicken Cacciatore, the Tortellini Matteo’s with ham and mushrooms, the Penne Norcia with Italian sausages made right in the kitchen or the Linguine with Clam Sauce. And don’t miss the Tiramisu for dessert.
Mamma mia, that’s Italiana!
